This location was paradise on earth! The host was so generous and welcoming, we felt immediately at home. The garden terrace was beautiful, sad we only got to stay for one day, but we will definitely be back.

Luisa was incredible! We stayed 3 nights here and loved our time. It was relaxing and filled with making us feel at home! She provided us with a fridge full of food upon arrival and a small bottle of her own wine. Each morning she bought us fresh bread, cakes, eggs, juice etc which was such a nice touch! As we were heading out one morning she caught us and showed us the wine being made in the process which was fantastic to see! Always a text or call away and lots of recommendations and even offer to use the pool in her other property. We couldn’t recommend this place more - perfect location for a stay in the Douro Valley!

Casa da burra was the perfect home for a couple of nights. The house is a beautiful blend of old and modern architecture, being partially made with big rocks. It was super incredibly and comfortable accommodated 5 of us. The hosts were super super super welcoming and understanding, as I had made the booking very last minute and they were happy to receive us at a convenient time for us. Amazing stay. I’ll recommend and hope to go back at some point. ❤️

Fantastic rooms with amazing balcony and views. Looks like a big hotel but only 20 rooms.

Great place in the middle of the village - very authentic experience. Cool outlay of the apartment. Real central . Very clean - some add one like water , wine and coffee helped us a lot . Great place !
