A magical place. A wonderful hostess - Fatima - responsible for the property in the owner's absence. Despite the historical nature of the over 500-year-old estate, we felt at ease. Great, home-cooked food.

The hotel was in a perfect location close to the Atlantic Ocean. It was a small and intimate hotel with only 2 floors. The bedroom was huge with 2 comfy chairs and a small table to relax in and the patio door led onto the garden with sun loungers and a pool in the garden. The ground floor rooms were idea for anyone with limited mobility. The breakfast room was a separate building on the ground floor so that no one was disturbed. On the whole the hotel was quiet and peaceful. Just what you need to unwind. We would definitely come back.

Really well equipped, we particularly appreciated the thoughtfulness around children, with plastic cups/plates etc. and games.

Bedrooms were quiet and comfortable, shutters meant that you can keep the place dark in the early morning. The shutters also made the property very secure, and the car parking was certainly that.

Great location close to the bay. Plenty of space around the building incl. some swings, great for kids. Clean and well-sized bedrooms. Big reception/dining hall with plenty of toys, good for very large families/groups that know each other well. Friendly owners that also live on the premises.
House is very well mantained and there are many small details making the difference when you arrive, such as toys and games for kids. Pool can be heated which is really important if you are unlucky with the weather like i was.
Staying at Casa do Trevor was like spending the night at the home of a caring family member. Dona Fernanda is absolutely sweet, attentive and excellent at recognising the boundary between being a proactive host and giving you space. Her late night meal and the delicious breakfast and cakes were a chapter by themselves. A place to return for sure.
This is a great place in a beautiful location, right next to an impressove sand dune, and only a few steps away from a wonderful beach that is safe for kids since it has almost no waves and rather shallow water. Casa da Duna has a very nice and spacious lounge as well as access to a fully equipped kitchen, everything is tastefully renovated. The hosts are wonderful and very helpful in all respects.
