We absolutely loved the house, so well equipped and a beautiful large garden with gorgeous views. Was fantastic to sit in the hot tub or pool looking at the views of hills. The house is a 3 bed but is so much bigger. We had a large en-suite with his and hers sinks and large shower room. A car is a must as Pombal is approximately 20 minutes away though there is a smaller supermarket about 10 mins away. There is even a garage to park the car and electric gates to keep you secure ! If you like a peaceful holiday then this is it ! Hosts were very friendly and we knew we could go to them if there was any help we needed but all was fine. They are sort of attached in another large house, not that you noticed. The only thing I would say was watch little ones with the edge of pool (little drop down), our lilos drifted over but you easily grab them back again. We really hope to be back some day :)

As families grow in size, so too do the needs of a family holiday. That’s why family hotels are set up to cater for all ages, from toddlers and kids to teens and adults. Typically, you can expect restaurants with kids’ menus, games rooms, fitness centres and a pool area where children can play and parents can relax.
Our host, Marinela, was amazing! She welcomed us with a beautiful cake and friendly smile. The house was stunning and had everything we needed- even a great braai area. Surrounded by beautiful scenery- it was an amazing place for our family. The garden, the fruit trees, the swimming pool- what a fabulous place.
It is a hidden gem:) The scenery and pool were great. My son enjoyed a pool and communal area every day. The owner welcomed us when we got there. She helped us to find a shop and restaurant etc. Overall all family enjoyed our stay.
Everything deserves a rate of at least 11/10. The host was very very nice, kind and incredibly attentive. We could park our car just at the front of the house where we stayed. The land of the property is precious and you can watch a beautiful sunset just from there. Moreover it is amazingly located for climbers who want to get to the crag by only walking for less than 20 min! Also, for the non-climbers who are just nature lovers there are plenty of routes near the place. I have nothing but kind words to describe my stay.
