Everything, lovely welcome from very kind host. Gorgeous room with lovely furniture and an excellent shower. Fabulous breakfast which they made early especially for us as we had to go to the airport.

There is loads of space both inside and out All rooms well equipped and comfortable. There weee 9 family members staying and we never felt cramped Pool area was lovely. The grounds surrounding the villa are great. Remote location was just what we wanted but it is close enough to beaches and tourist attractions

We chose an apt NOT in Sintra (since parking within the city can be terrible). It is a nice village (still with many cars..), we had parking at the street, used the Supermarket in Colares. Very convenient apt for 2 people. (not sure how much for more, the 'leaving room' area is very small) Some shops and food-places are very near. We drove to Sintra (~10-15 min) and used a public parking lot. we used the washing machine, stove-top, kettle. Host was very helpful and responsive (we had issue with hot-water, which was fixed after a short time). We drove to 'Azenhas do Mar' (recommendation of Rita), but it was too cloudy to see the sun-set..

The pictures did not do it justice. It was a beautiful property lots of space a wonderful pool and gorgeous grounds. The children loved exploring the orchard. The kitchen as well stocked. It was so easy to contact staff when we had any issues, they were very kind and responsive.  Parking was no problem.  I honestly could not believe the size of the Villa. . The views of the castles were amazing.
