João was a charming and gracious host. The house was beautiful, very well appointed, clean and comfortable. Literally next to one of the pedestrian gates to the castle. Close enough to all it has to offer but so quiet, with lovely views across the surrounding farmland.

The house is amazing. We stayed only 2 nights and we had a very full agenda, so we used it only to sleep. But it is really fully furnished to be enjoyed on longer time, with plenty of attention from the owner to his visitors. There are 2 complete bathrooms, downstairs and upstairs. The kitchen has anything you can need, dishwasher, washing machine, coffee machine and all. All products (soaps and coffee capsules) are available. The owner offered us also a small emergency kit (bread, butter, etc) to let us feel comfortable. And he prepared few toys and books for the kids to play with, who were really over the moon.
He also gave us a lot of suggestions, which we could not follow all because we were already busy with friends living in the area as well, but based on the little we did, his recommendation were great. We arrived quite late, at about 1900, so when we asked for a restaurant he booked for us the restaurant where his father works. It couldn’t be better!
Really, if you want to visit the area, stay at this place, you won’t regret at all!

The property was just as described and easy to find. The property manager was responsive and helpful with our queries. We went in September so a bit out of season. If you are looking to sunbathe around the pool then at this time of year there is a lot of shade from mid afternoon onwards. Very comfortable and well equipped.
Edouardo and his family were very welcoming and respectful of our privacy. The villas are located a 5 minute drive from Caldas da Rainha and its supermarkets. 15 minutes in the opposite direction by car brings you to an amazing beach. Wouldn't hesitate to return or recommend to others!
Lovely family that own the property, its a really nice place to stay it has everything you need! The place is spacious, you have 2 bathrooms inside the house itself plus an outdoor bathroom. I would say you definitely need a car especially if you don't know the area but in a car its really close to everything.
Perfect, quiet, clean and there is a great family restaurant that serves traditional portuguese cuisine just 2 minutes away from the property. The host was super friendly and always available. I recommend !!!!!!
