One of the most special places we have stayed; the location, resort/retreat, staff, facilities, and food were above expectation. Octant really cared about us and not only met our special requests but exceeded our requirements having thought and care into each day we stayed - they surprised us with beautiful fruit plates, chacuterie plates, wines, water. It was a perfect place to relax and enjoy a getaway with young kids.
As families grow in size, so too do the needs of a family holiday. That’s why family hotels are set up to cater for all ages, from toddlers and kids to teens and adults. Typically, you can expect restaurants with kids’ menus, games rooms, fitness centres and a pool area where children can play and parents can relax.
The villa is in a great location just outside Tavira, it has a fabulous pool which the kids loved. The home is equipped with everything you need for a family and the beds are the most comfortable I have ever slept in at a rental property.
Rui, met us when we arrived and was on hand for anything we needed. We will definitely be back!
It was perfect for children. Lots of room to play, a playground, a lot of toys, a petting zoo and facilities like a ping-pong table, badminton net, soccer goal, etc.

It was good value for the money and it was more beautiful in reality than it is on the pictures. The nature is just stunning. The kids loved it there so much, especially the goats, chickens, and of course the pool that was very clean as everything else was.

My family loved our time at Villa Caracol, We enjoyed the beautiful and peaceful setting while unwinding after long days of sightseeing and beach hopping. The villa and grounds were immaculate and thoughtfully equipped, offering a lovely barbecue area, mini-golf, a heated pool/spa, covered parking, and several cozy places to sit and enjoy a meal. Our hosts were delightful and attentive, quick to respond to any questions we had. You will love Villa Caracol. We did, and we will definitely return whenever we visit this beautiful region.
