Absolutely loved the stay in Casa Dos Barcos Furnas. We felt privileged to have the opportunity to stay there. The house has a history and it feels special. The owners left the food basket with the fabulous local produce, which was very much appreciated. We also had the acces to bicycles and kayaks which made our stay even more special. Every morning we would go to the garden opposite the goose to see the chickens that welcomed us running very excited. Very special stay. One of the kind. Loved every moment. Thank you 😊

Outstanding three course dinner served in lovely dining room looking out on the garden with the flames glowing from firepit outside. Our group of four adults (two couples) spent 4 nights in this lovely split-level house. It had the kitchen, living room, patio and a bedroom and bathroom on the ground floor, plus two more bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs. The hosts were very gracious, showing us around the house and giving us restaurant recommendations. They also left us some cookies, chocolates, jams and cheese from Terceira as a welcome gift, plus bottled water, tea, coffee and sugar. The house was quite spacious and comfortable.
