Overall a pretty good stay, the staff was helpful and discrete, and the room was really confortable. A big plus was that the room we stayed had direct access to the exterior, which facilitated entering later at night. For a older house, it the sound isolation was very good and the furniture was well kept. Another big plus was that there was a very friendly dog and blind kitty, also chicken and sheep. There was always fresh water in the fridge and a filtered tap as well.

The hosts - Maria and her daughter Janine - were lovely, very welcoming and took care after our needs during the whole stay. Fresh bread every morning was an unexpected treat. We enjoyed ourselves by the large pool at the top of the spacious garden, which is shared with the owners and 2-3 other apartments on the property. Stunning view from the pool area, as well as space for basketball, volleyball or rocket ball.

The location is perfect with a magnificient view. The house is extraordinary, and the pool and the garden couldn’t be better. Great service from the host. The house is kept cold during the summer as it’s made of stone (and there is aircon).

It was an absolute pleasure to stay at this property! We had seen a couple of reviews and we did like what we saw on the website as well. However since it is such a young property we didn't know quite what to expect. I am thrilled to say that our stay vastly exceeded our expectations. We were welcomed and looked after by Maria Lopes who is the kindest person! The owners are also very nice and the lady of the house would always bring fresh flowers for our breakfast table which was such a nice touch. The two houses that are available at the moment are impeccably renovated and decorated, having kept their traditional Portuguese feel on the outside and feeling very modern and yet cabin like inside. Little Portuguese details have been kept on the inside which I loved. We went as a couple however the whole experience is also clearly designed for families. They have a play room, a basket ball/football field as well as many walking trails to explore through their beautiful gardens and vineyard. We did not get to do any of that as it was so hot we spent the whole day at the pool which is in impeccable condition. In addition, and in light of its name we can verify that the view is stunning from wherever you stand - "Boavista" indeed!.
