Excellent location, amazing staff, superb breakfast. If you love nature a best place to stay and Rue is a true gentleman who went extra mile in customer services and waited for us till 0130 as our flight was delayed and rental car got messed up by the provider. He briefed us about the location and area and ensured our stay was comfortable was always available to help. The kitchen staff was also very friendly and accommodating.

Stunning, 1 of a kind property...an old family estate, restored/remodeled into a hotel/B&B. Very high end, tasteful decor. Incredibly ample & delicious breakfast. Staff were extremely warm and friendly. The extensive garden walking paths are full of whimsical surprises and beautiful old trees. Amazing spot!!!

The most beautiful and luxurious place we have ever stayed. The house itself has been designed to make the most of every stunning view, and to bring the beauty of outside in. Rui our host thought of every detail to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable, recommending taxis, sites and restaurants to us, arranging airport transfers and providing logs for the fire and blankets to keep us warm, since we were halfway up a mountain in December! We even had a gorgeous decorated tree to put us in festive mood. We were staying with my sister's family there and it was perfect for evenings talking around the dining table and time where we could each have space and enjoy the cinema room, library, the reception rooms and the outside views of Guimaraes, which are incredible day and night. Thank you Rui, we had the best time.

Casa de Ladrido is one of the best accommodations I’ve ever had. We have spent a week here and we just loved it. The house is very cozy and quite beautiful, it is clean, well organized, big enough for a family or with a group of friends. There’s an amazing barbecue area in where we spent our nights cooking together as a family, we also could enjoy swimming in the pool and playing badminton in the garden. The house is also well equipped, there’s tv, air conditioning, comfortable beds, big kitchen, and gaming room with lots of family games you could imagine. Raul can hook you up with wines of the region which are phenomenal. Furthermore, you there are plenty of lemon trees on the area which provide you with the freshest and juiciest lemons. We are definitely gonna come back here!

Everything we are so welcome from the lady,it was amazing experience. I loved to awake in such peaceful place. Kids loved play in the swimming pool outside. And inside till late. The rooms so spaces amazing,it was clean like a loved. Definitely I would go back.
