Overall, our stay at this hotel was good, with clean facilities and friendly staff. However, there were a few drawbacks that impacted our experience.
Firstly, the price was a bit overpriced considering the location. The hotel is quite remote and far from any supermarket, which made it inconvenient for getting supplies.
Additionally, our experience at the pool was less than ideal. Some other customers were very loud and disruptive, making it difficult to enjoy the pool area. The pool itself is not very large, so the noise and crowding significantly detracted from the comfort of the experience.
Despite these issues, we still had a pleasant stay thanks to the hotel's overall quality and the attentive staff.

Trinta is a quiet little town, ideally located to visit the Serra da Estela area. Casa Cruz is an excellent choice, a stylish combination of a heritage house with modern remodeling. Equiped with everything, comforable furniture (not always found in &B), extremely clean, with a lovely large outside terrace to enjoy the views.
Located in Corujeira, in a historic building, 12 km from Guarda Cathedral, Quinta da Alqueidosa - Casa de Campo is a recently renovated holiday home with pool with a view and fitness centre.

The location is perfect. In the middle of a small valley, far from towns and villages.
It is quiet, relaxing, comfortable, very well kept.
The whole precinct is very nice, with pool, sheep grazing below, and cats playing around.
The room has all amenities, well equipped kitchen, well furnished.
The bathroom is nice and spotless. The fireplace is very pleasant, specially on a cold rainy day.
I reached the place walking, it's a 10 km easy walk, no problem unless one has mobility issues.
Two kilometers uphill the quinta is village Trinta which has bakery, pharmacy, and a small village shop with the sweetest granny that has ever sold cheese to You.
Overall, the area feels very authentic, I very much enjoyed walking through the countryside and the villages.

The location is perfect for anyone who wishes an early start to walk the "Passadiços do Mondego" (https://passadicosdomondego.net/fotos/); also Videmonte is a small village full of charming houses, with many being renovated; there is a couple who produces really good bread in the old fashion and also has delicious honey and herb teas; there is also a cheese artisan cheese maker; there are sheep and goats and a shepherd that still takes them in and out of the village; many fresh and ready to be used water fountains, beautiful nature and silence all around
