Location and views are stunning. Staff were lovely and helpful. The food and wine were excellent. Room was really comfortable and lovely to have seating right outside. In fact there are seating areas everywhere. The pool was beautiful.

This is a very beautiful small and family hotel. The stuff and especially Angela was so nice and so helpful we just fell in love.
She was absolutely amazing and helped us a lot in making reservations for restaurants and tours.

We were made so welcome by Manuel as soon as we arrived. It’s a beautiful, traditional family home The breakfast was delicious and the service very friendly. Huge and fantastic house in the center of the city. The house is just amazing, with 4 big and confortable rooms, a huge living room and meals room, a small tv room and a big kitchen. The 2 bathroons are very very good. The views are very nice, the house is quiet and very near the center of the city. Keep in mind that the house is in the higher part of town, so when returning from the river side you will need to walk uphill... but it is not that much and it is well worth it. Its a fantastic house.

The house was full of charm and history and our nice host Carlos was so proud of introducing us to it.
Having breakfast in the kitchen from the 18th century was a wonderful and different experience. Our room was spacious and nicely furnished. In this little village of Abacas we were far from other tourists. Carlos and Paola, thanks for an unforgettible experience.

The place is absolutely wonderful and I wish we had stayed longer than just one night to enjoy better que quietness in the pool. We had a small wine tasting and we were very well received for the amazing staff, all very kind. The views are to die for, the wine is delicious and it was the best breakfast in our whole trip by far. They totally got my heart.

The quinta is lovely and the best thing about it is its owners. A beautiful family that go above and beyond to make their guests feel welcome. We had breakfast and dinner there and the food was impeccable. They provided fresh products and homemade great quality items. I would go there again in a heart beat.

This felt like more of a visit with friends or family than a B&B. With only 3 rooms, it has a lovely feel to it and we were lucky to stay at the same time as two other couples so each night was a dinner with friends.

We booked the terrace room which was lovely and private. Nuno and Christina are generous hosts and we were treated to a wonderful personal experience including some delicious Port from their family stock. We relaxed by the pool, ate some tasty home made meals and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
This place was so great! There are just three rooms (so book early!) and Nuno and Christina are amazing hosts. Definitely recommend to have dinner here all the nights you stay. Christina is an amazing cook (best Portugese food we had during two weeks) and dinner in 'their house' really gives a warm family feeling. The swimming pool is great and it's a great spot to discover the amazing Douro Valley. Their exceptional review score is 100% deserved.
It feels like you’re staying with a family instead of in a hotel. Nuno and Cristina are amazing hosts! The home made food was soooo good, and they are so lovely and welcoming. They even remember every guest’s name and it makes the stay very personal. We loved it! Also, the swimming pool and the view over the Douro valley are gorgeous. I would recommend this stay to everyone.
Amazing location in the middle of the vineyards, with a beautiful view overlooking the Douro River, and still walking distance to the village for coffee or a glass of Porto. Manuel and Manuela welcomed us like family and they were so helpful and generous!!! We loved our stay here and would love to be back.
