Dear Cristina and Nuno , your house and hospitality are amazing ! We had a wonderful stay in the Douro area at your house. Room is spacious and clean with own fridge, water provided. Lovely private terrace and newly built pool. We came by train from Porto and you can easily take other trains to visit nearby places like Pinhao. Breakfast very good and we recommend to eat diner at Cristina and Nuno , they make lovely homemade and traditional food. What a lovely experience to be welcomed by such two lovely, warm hosts ! Amazing views and locations and the friendliest and most generous hosts ever - thank you so much! Loved eating the fig, tomatoes and grapes from the garden. Some reviews mention the train - the first train in the morning is 8.30am and last train is about 8pm and is infrequent so does not cause any disturbance. Little village is a short walk away with a couple of cafes.

It is even better than in the pictures. The house is located in the middle of an athletic village, on the hill with grape wines and orange trees. A small church is nearby. The view can not be better. You can hear bells and roosters. We arrived late in the rainy evening. The owner was there to meet and greet us. He quickly showed us the property. We appreciated the little welcome touches like cookies and milk. No problem with the parking. And it is easy to get from the place to wineries and other local attractions.
