The whole casa and the room itslef were very clean and spacious. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that for minimum pay I get that comfort and cleanliness. The host was caring and attentive, though not speaking English. They responded positively on our late check-in. There is nothing spectacular about the casa's location; yet it is a perfect overnight stop at the end of Northern Portugal or Douro Valley day trip - a secluded refuge from the bustling Porto, which is just 20 minutes away.

Very warm welcome of our hosts in this beautiful family-owned castle with modern comfort. The location is very convenient to go to Porto airport.
