Beautiful place of nature and our tent was in a perfect spot with good privacy and shaded by pine trees. Very comfortable stay, we had all that we needed and more (even Tupperwares to take picnics on the beach!). Free daily activities were a welcome addition for kids and adults alike and brilliant to have the use of a swimming pool. Facilities were super clean and not smelly. Very quiet at night expect for the background sound of the roaring ocean at the mouth of the estuary and the crickets.

João was a charming and gracious host. The house was beautiful, very well appointed, clean and comfortable. Literally next to one of the pedestrian gates to the castle. Close enough to all it has to offer but so quiet, with lovely views across the surrounding farmland.

The house is amazing. We stayed only 2 nights and we had a very full agenda, so we used it only to sleep. But it is really fully furnished to be enjoyed on longer time, with plenty of attention from the owner to his visitors. There are 2 complete bathrooms, downstairs and upstairs. The kitchen has anything you can need, dishwasher, washing machine, coffee machine and all. All products (soaps and coffee capsules) are available. The owner offered us also a small emergency kit (bread, butter, etc) to let us feel comfortable. And he prepared few toys and books for the kids to play with, who were really over the moon.
He also gave us a lot of suggestions, which we could not follow all because we were already busy with friends living in the area as well, but based on the little we did, his recommendation were great. We arrived quite late, at about 1900, so when we asked for a restaurant he booked for us the restaurant where his father works. It couldn’t be better!
Really, if you want to visit the area, stay at this place, you won’t regret at all!

Very pleasant stay in a village outside Obidos. Very good breakfast - fresh fruit, not only cow milk, fresh served eggs, - we did not expect more. Very easy late check in. Natural pool looked nice, but we had no time to use. We had room with seeview.
