Breakfast was nice, and the room we had it in was very pleasant to sit in. It lasted a couple of hours, so that was plenty of time to eat it at your leisure.

This hotel has great staff.
The receptionist was very welcoming, helpful and spoke brilliant English. He was happy to offer restaurant recommendations which no-one does any more. The morning receptionist asked us if everything had been OK during our stay. This is a first for us, a hotel which actually cares to ask if you had a nice stay. So well done.
Our room was lovely, just big enough, with air con, a comfortable bed and a great shower. We also had the bonus of a small balcony from which we enjoyed watching the sun go down over the river. The room had a fridge, fancy coffee machine with two free pods, free bottled water and free toiletries. All very much appreciated.
Location is great, it is right in the center of town. And while this means they do not have a car park, there is a large, free car park located just down the hill, below the hotel. You can park the car, then take the lift up, and walk two minutes to the hotel entrance. Very convenient.
Breakfast was beautifully laid out and delicious. We throughly enjoyed bacon, scrambled eggs, mushrooms, tomatoes and toast, with great coffee. We would return here again just for the breakfast, and the lovely staff.

The place is a perfect romantic escape for a couple of nights. Hidden between a forest and tiny river, gives the disconnect that you need at the same time providing the privacy you want during a romantic getaway. The place is beautiful, the chale is clean and comfortable and even though it is tiny, it has all you need.
We came here to celebrate my boyfriend’s birthday and we got a lovely birthday cake with breakfast as well. Amazing service. Loved it and will be back!

The room was well appointed and the view over the pool, garden and town was pleasant. Being able to walk to the town from the property was beneficial. The garden was beautiful.
