The Quinta is in an ideal location for exploring the island of Sao Miguel. Although directly on the main road the gated community feels like a haven in the countryside. The bungalows are well designed, spacious and offer privacy. It was a lovely spot to 'come home' to after a day exploring the island, especially the greeting from the little dog each evening. We received a warm welcome from our host on arrival and good communication before our stay.

As families grow in size, so too do the needs of a family holiday. That’s why family hotels are set up to cater for all ages, from toddlers and kids to teens and adults. Typically, you can expect restaurants with kids’ menus, games rooms, fitness centres and a pool area where children can play and parents can relax.
The house was exactly what we needed, perfect for two families. We had enough space and privacy. The kitchen was well equipped and the BBQ was brand new. Nothing was missing. Very clean, inside premises and the surroundings. The terrace is large and you can see the ocean.
The duplex apartment is functional and luxurious, we particularly loved the extra large bed and the well equipped kitchen too. The weather was amazing so we got to use the outside pool as it was warm enough to swim Caloura is perfectly located to explore the island and enjoy some quiet time. Make sure to check out the natural pools
Room is spacious, bed is confortable. The kitchenette is helpful when travelling with a child. The pool is beautiful.
The mezzanine is nicely designed, and our group loveled it, however it may be dangerous for small children.
Our visit was amazing! We really liked how clean and quiet the property was. Our apartment was cozy and functional - it had all of the amenities we needed. Our host Antonio was also very friendly and helpful. And it was great to have so much available parking on the property rather than finding tight street parking in the cities.
