The checkin and out process were easy and the support from the host was great. The sunhouse is located a short drive from Vianna do Castello, the property is well maintained with plenty of towels and beds, well equipped kitchen and dining area and patio area. Parking was easy and it's just outside the house.

Super place. The photos don't do it justice! Much better than I expected! Lovely owners. Really nice area. Within walking distance of a shop/bakery and the ferry to Viana. Bikes to use too, to make things easier! We didn't have a car, but this was fine. You can walk to the station at Area Darque or ferry into Viana to pick up the train at either.

Everything was perfect! The Turkish (steam) bath and sauna were amazing (just what we needed after a few days of walking the Camino). The breakfast buffet was amazing (we did not eat dinner). The room was comfortable - they even provide flip flops to wear down to the spa. And we were able to find a pair of shoes for my husband in the shop.

The house is very well located, walking distance from the beach with a cosy garden. The house is clean and had plenty of space for our family of four. Marta was a super friendly host, she prepared everything before our arrival, had great tips about activities and restaurants and made sure that all was ok.

Just about everything! Marta is someone who takes her job seriously and has provided a wonderful environment with many small details that make the stay easy and enjoyable. Fun restaurants, and bars and the beach just a block away. Unfortunately while we were there the little ferry over to Viana Do Costelo was not running, but if it was, you can just walk a block and take that ferry over to the heart of the city. We relied on Uber and it was only about five euro each way
