Really surprised by this brilliant guest house and location in Batalha. We booked it as a place with a pool to spend a few days between trips to Lisbon and Porto - what a great decision. There's so much more to do in the area than we realised. It's rural but easy access to the silver coast and surrounded by history and adventure. Our two teenagers loved being at the poolside and felt really safe here. We stayed for four nights and could easily have stayed longer, visiting lots of places nearby. We timed it well with the big Festa to celebrate the battle of albujarrato so there was music every night in town. This area is great value for money for eating out compared to the big cities. Loved it and would definitely go back and recommend it to others. Having breakfast cooked for you is a great treat too. Beautiful location and views.

We were met personally by our host and were given a warm welcome. The apartment was of a very good design and of a high standard. Our host’s eye for detail and consideration of our comfort was excellent. We were made to feel at home and appreciated the provision of extras such as washing aids, milk, coffee, drinks etc. The bedrooms were spacious and the beds comfortable. The property is ideally located for transport, restaurants, cafes, tourist attractions and a supermarket. The outdoor space would be a welcome area to use in the summer months. WiFi was an easy connection and fast. We would highly recommend this property.
