Everything was great: hotel is newly renovated, clean. Room was a little small, clean and comfortable. No AC, but it looks like, you do not need it, at least in October. Beautiful grounds. Good restaurant.

The lounge (breakfast/dinner space) was very cozy; The room had a very rare find in Madeira - a heater, so we were able to dry our clothes etc. This wasn't the case in other hotels ( 5 of them) we booked in Madeira.

The apartment was spacious, well equipped and finished to a very high standard. The view was very nice, and the pool and surroundings good, although it was a bit too cold for a prolonged immersion in January! Evening meals in the restaurant were very good and the wine offering also enjoyable. The owner was pleasant and most helpful.

The house at Ponta Delgada was superb. When we arrived, we met the owner, who was very helpful and kind. They gave us some cookies and a pie as a welcome present. The place was very clean and it had a beautiful garden full of different kind of plants. We had the oportunity to get some fresh eggs every morning, because they had some hens. The jacuzzi was a big reward after all day long walks. The beds were extremely comfortable and the house had good details as a bbq and a Wii, that gave us funny moments. The kitchen was well equipped, although we would appreciate a dishwasher.
