The house was fantastic. We were two families (in total four adults and four kids). Enough rooms to cook (more than fully equipped kitchen), eat, sleep, relax (mostly we sat outside) and enjoy the beautiful sight. Kids loved the pool and the game room! There is a lot to do/visit in doable distance from the house. The owner kept in contact and made sure everything was perfect!

A beautiful tipical Portuguese house, in a perfect condition with some original antique furnishings. The whole estate is breathtaking, there is a spring and a fountain, old chapel, a large pool overlooking wineyards and olive trees... The house is equipped with everything needed, the bathrooms are brand-new. We got complementary tomatos and eggs from the owners little farm. The best thing is the quiteness of the place and the green scenery... Thank you for everything!

Breakfast was very nice. Simple bread, cheese, ham, butter, slices of cake, fruit, juice and coffee. They were able to arrange I have mine served a little earlier than usual on morning, due to my going on an early hike. The staff were wonderful. All friendly and helpful. I had dinner there also, which you MUST prebook if not on the meal plan, and it was also very tasty. The room was very comfortable and clean. Regretfully I had no hot water at first, but this was later resolved when I mentioned the issue. The view from the pool is spectacular!

the property is even better than what it looks in the photos. super elegant in a great location, great decoration, all facilities and amenities. the host is incredibly welcoming, the location is great (3 minutes drive from a small town where EVERYTHING is available) but secluded enough so that you feel totally imersed in nature. all you hear are the countyside sounds and the animals: birds singing, frogs calling, etc. It smells wonderfully all aroung, the pool is amazing. we spent 10 wonderful days and hope to come back soon. totally recommeded.

All rooms were clean and equipped with modern technology like astonishing WiFi. The garden has a vineyard and orange trees. It looks awesome and the view from the hill is fantastic as well from the garden as from the living room through the enormous window. This great view comes with a small price: a steep, small road but no problem for experienced drivers (trust the signs not Google or your navigation). The bonus on top was the absolutely cute and trustful cat living there belonging to the owners. The owners were very helpful ans supported us, as non Portuguese speakers, in the village. Excellent choice if you love a stay at a quiet place in a beautiful landscape.
