The castle has been renovated, but it still maintains the rustic charm on the inside. The location is fantastic. Far enough to give a disconnected feeling, but not too far from essentials so that you feel lost. It is adjacent to a forest region, so people can go on a hike of they feel like. There is a lake in the front of the castle with some chairs and two piers. One can see multiple couples posing for photoshoots during summer. The breakfast spread is nice as well, with some options for vegetarians and gluten free bread.

On a long journey from Slovakia to Denmark I needed a place to sleep. I spontaneously chose this and it couldn't have been a better decision. The staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful and the room was comfortable and I slept like a baby until I continued my journey. As a man who spends a lot of time in hotels around Europe, I highly recommend this little pearl. It remains the only hotel I have bothered to make a review for so far in my life :)
