It's a new house done with quality materials and very nicely decorated. The kitchen was well-equipped and it was very helpful to have it. The Protea has an excellent restaurant, Chata Myśliwska, serving healthy Polish dishes. The fireplace creates perfect conditions for relaxation. In the morning tasty breakfast is served.

The breakfast, which is ordered the night before, was excellent and if you wanted more, then all you have to do is ask. We were travelling onwards and, for a small "plastic" charge, the hotel was happy to provide a cotainer to take some food with us. The bar/dining room is especially nice, featuring a number of floor-to-ceiling tree trunks and makes a great place to unwind after a hard day's driving across the country. The menu isn't massive but the food is well prepared, tasty and morte than sufficient. The staff were very pleasent and gave us some great advice with regard to how to pre-pay for tolls on our route (if we hadn't know this, it would have cost a substantial amount more!) We like this hotel so much, we made special effort to use it again on our return through Poland.
