Amazing place! Freddy and Esther (and their daughter Lia) are super nice, when you stay here you become part of their family. Freddy took us on a coffee tour in the afternoon and explained everything about the coffee they produce and how everything works. The food we got here is amazing (both dinner and breakfast). The shower was nice and warm, and the bed was super comfy. As a bonus the stargazing on the football field next to the place was perfect as well. Definitely recommend!

We had a really great time there. Booked the suite with the jacuzzi. Amazing view and very comfy beds! Simple, but exactly what we were looking for to relax and disconnect. Taxi fare to reach the place is 20 Soles - no matter how many people, if 1 or 3, it is always 20 Soles for one way. Zipline was amazing: 4 lines and a bridge to cross for 70 Soles! Really great experience. Totally recommended! You have to visit the hot springs there, really nice experience and very relaxing. Go there from 6 to 8pm, when it is getting colder outside, so u can enjoy it more! Take a taxi there. The hotel has a contact, who is really nice and brought us also to hydroelectrica for a very good price! Host speaks really good English!

I got to the lodge late, close to 8:30pm on 04/15/2024, but folks there fired up the kitchen to cook me a hot meal with a smile. The view in the early morning was just "wow". You should come here ealier than I did to also enjoy the late afternoon view.

Set in Machu Picchu, 5.6 km from Huayna Picchu, Eco Hacienda Roman offers accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a shared lounge. The hotel has a terrace and mountain views, and guests can enjoy a meal at the restaurant or a drink at the bar.

Staying with Roger and his family was a highlight of our time in Peru! The Hacienda was so peaceful and even though we don't speak Spanish and had a little harder time communicating with the family, we could still feel the love and warmth from them. I also had the best 2 nights of sleep there out of our entire 2 weeks in Peru because of the environment. Roger was very helpful with arranging a car to take us from Cusco to the house and although it took longer than the train, it ended up being approx. the same price as the train plus we got to make some stops along the way and see the beautiful countryside. Joel was the driver and he was very safe. I was hesitant to stay here because it was farther from our visit to Macchu Picchu and I was concerned about the logistics of getting there. BUT Roger was extremely helpful in facilitating all of that for us and made it easy. I initially was being stubborn and tried to arrange everything myself...if you're in that boat, do yourself a favor and just go with him booking the car for you from Cusco to the Hacienda. He went above and beyond helping me book tickets for the train and arranging transportation from Cusco. It was well worth it and he did way more than most would help with. COFFEE!! The food and coffee was so incredibly fresh and having his dad Ramon teach us how to make it early in the morning was one of my favorite experiences in Peru. Well worth the extra distance it was from Aguas Calientes and a memorable experience. Highly recommend staying here!
