Find the family hotels that appeal to you the most
Looking for a family hotel?
As families grow in size, so too do the needs of a family holiday. That’s why family hotels are set up to cater for all ages, from toddlers and kids to teens and adults. Typically, you can expect restaurants with kids’ menus, games rooms, fitness centres and a pool area where children can play and parents can relax.
The location was nice and beautiful sunset views, free kayaks and new paddle boards added a lot of fun with the kids! Nice, helpful staff and good breakfast!
Carmen is very friendly and warm host. We stayed for 2 nights and in both we had dinners there with other guests and Carmen and Marcel. The food was delicious and it was like big family dinner. Carmen is very supportive with all the needs her guest have. The rooms are clean, with hot water, very comfortable beds and pillows.
The hosts of this bed&breakfast are amazing! Really nice personal touch, great food, and stories. Felt like being part of a temporary family... a really beautiful place and wonderful hosts. Recommend it! & Thank you so much!
It’s located in the most beautiful part of the island. The view from the balcony- indescribable!!! Peaceful, beautiful place that help you truly feel the island vibe! It’s close to the restaurants, host gave me the best advice with choosing one. Frances ( the host) is just amazing and the way she takes care of the place and the visitors, is more than perfect! Highly recommend choosing this place to stay!
The Eclypse is a very nice hotel. It looks fantastic, our hut-on-stilts was big and was absolutely fine for our family (children aged 13 and 10). The fact that the property backed onto its own nature reserve gave it an edge over hotels; we saw caiman, a sloth, some cool little red frogs and an impressively sized moth one evening.
For those not so keen on the jungle, there were cocktails and really good food in the restaurant. Not the speediest of service but that wasn't a problem for me; we were on Caribbean time!
We loved the location, it's at walking distance to Old Bank town (through the swamp though), which we liked more that Bocas Town (less touristic). You can swim and snorkel in front of the house and taking a boat to Bocas or anywhere else was very easy. The house was spacious, well equipped and not too remote.
The beds were perfect, including the mosquito nets.
And last but not least Zuly was very supportive and a fun person!
The hosts were really lovely people and the bungalows are a dream. You feel like staying in a big family garden with lots of fun stuff to do, kayaking, snorkelling etc
Staff was great , location great, rooms are so fun with feeding the fish and well designed. The family loved it! Loved the king bed! Views great, food good, cocktails amazing. Kayaks, stand up paddle boards, snorkle equipment so fun! Nature reserve was a great walk. Staff showed me animals! Sloths, night monkeys and more!
such a nice place in a very lovely vibrant neighborhood. The local people are super nice, and it’s good to get away from all of the touristic places in Bocas. Supermarkets by walking distance and also some restaurants/bars and the beach. The family running the place are super helpful with everything and they make a delicious affordable breakfast. Would definitely recommend!
