The camp is in a great location nestled between the dunes.
The tent was wonderfully laid out and the beds were super comfortable. There are chairs outside which are great for stargazing.
Mr Alfarooq was the perfect host and looked after us from sending us a detailed description of the meeting point, giving advice on what to do during the day, and finally returning us to meeting point on our departure.
The food is very good and the staff are very friendly and helpful.
For us, the real extra were our conversations with Mr Alfarooq about life in the desert and Oman.

Accommodation was beautiful and comfortable. The outside shower was actually a very welcome experience. The food was excellent. The staff was incredibly attentive and kind. The fantastic and in depth astronomy and star gazing activity was the absolute highlight.

As families grow in size, so too do the needs of a family holiday. That’s why family hotels are set up to cater for all ages, from toddlers and kids to teens and adults. Typically, you can expect restaurants with kids’ menus, games rooms, fitness centres and a pool area where children can play and parents can relax.
Location was brilliant, right in the desert. The villas were comfortable and relaxing. Everything was clean. AC was working fully. The restaurant food was exceptional and the staff were always helpful. Loved the lounge / games area as it kept the kids occupied. Plenty of activities for the family. Spa was a bonus as well
Everyone was so friendly and wanted to ensure we had a great time. Dune bashing was great fun, dinner was a feast that kept on coming and a camel ride at sunrise was the perfect ending.
They should be really proud of what they've got here, it's a gem and a great place to take a family as they are so welcoming.

Incredibly nice staff. The camel ride was fun and appropriate also for kids. The food is delicious and cooked by the owners themselves. The beds are very comfortable and the tents are very spacious.

We had a wonderful welcome, kids enjoyed different activities as camel ride and sledding on the dunes. The camp is located high on the dunes, view and sunset are amazing.

It was really hard to say goodbye.
Very very nice camp for a family with small ones wanting a full-comfort first desert experience for the kids. Everything was clean, easy and very nice rooms, lots of activities. We took one with a pool, which was an extravagance but served us well with the kids to wash off the sand and cool down in the day. Good variety of food and all inclusive breakfast and dinner. Easy drive to Wadi Bani Khalid from here, and not too far into the desert.
The activities were a lot of fun, though short and very expensive. The rooms were comfortable. The best bit was the sunset 'drive', though they just deposit you on top of the dune next to the gate. Kids played in the dunes for ages.
