The Farmhouse Kaeo Whangaroa, hotel in Whangaroa

Situated in Kaeo and only 36 km from Kemp House and Stone Store, The Farmhouse Kaeo Whangaroa features accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking.

This was the best last minute booking I have ever made. The Farmhouse was the sanctuary my family and I needed as we made an impromptu trip to the far north. Set in an idyllic farm setting which seemed far from the stresses of city life was only 5 minutes from the main road. As someone who often stays in motels and hotels this farmhouse was a breath of fresh air and the detail and care put into ensuring the property was ready to greet guests did not go unnoticed. My family are already planning our next trip to stay.

Amazing view and location. Plenty of space for the whole family. Pool and hot tub were great. Some more info on how to etc for the hot tub would be ideal, just to make sure you're using it right, or need to add chlorine granules etc? More info on the rubbish bag requirements also would be handy. We are local so we know about the blue bags and recycling but not everyone will.

I didn't no Breakfast was an option? Dinner across the road was delicious and worthwhile. Our room and bathroom accessories were exactly what we needed. The price we paid for our 2 nights stay was affordable. The lady who greeted us on arrival and offered us fresh towels was lovely and friendly. Would definitely recommend the Whangaroa Marlin Hotel to friends and family.

It was a lovely spot, and everything was clean and comfortable. A group of us stayed after a family event in the area, and it was really nice to have a large lounge to sit and talk together in the next morning.

I stayed there with my family of 18 adults and 4 children. This place was perfect for us, it had a bbq area that was big enough so we could all eat together instead of sitting in our seperate rooms.

The owners are sooo lovely and couldn't have been more inviting after we arrived in the pouring rain. In the next few days, we also booked rooms for our in laws and friends and they owners continued to be wonderful. Great shared space upstairs kept the kids contained, and a lovely BBQ area down the front meant we could cook for ourselves, though there is also a great pub across the street. Free tea and coffee and good kitchen facilities - this place is amazing. Also lovely walks to do in the area - even in the rain!
