Located at Lake Karapiro with Maungatautari Mountain backdrop, Lakeview Lodge Karapiro offers luxurious lodges with beautiful views.

The spacious lodges feature living and dining areas, a fully-equipped kitchen and both indoor and outdoor entertaining areas.

Thé excellent lake views, drew us to the verandahs each night to enjoy the sunsets, starry skies and a beverage or two - even my grandson joined us for the moments of enjoying nature with hot chocolate - The lodge is very well designed and catered to our large group four queen rooms one twin share three toilet/showers large dining lounge area and well catered kitchen and laundry. Would definitely come back. Helen and Steven are wonderful hosts and offered us foods for breakfast - very thoughtful. Various points of interest - the sculptures and night lighting in the gardens, alpacas and family dogs, the veggie garden which Helen offered some food from . Thank you

Our whole family loved the cottage. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped. We enjoyed the luxury of the cottage. The kids loved as well watching Netflix on the TV. The air condotion came in handy on our arrival day. Our second day there it was pouring and we enjoyed very much being able to have so much room for us. The location near Hobbiton was as well great for us. The conversation with Brittany was very fast and friendly. Thanks heaps for the lovely card and surprise in the fridge.

This is a brand new place, that greets you with wonderful landscaping, and even provides a car port for your car. The interior was simply stunningly in every aspect. The owner clearly has a wonderful eye for interior design. That said, everything was very comfortable, and the kitchen was exceptionally well provisioned. This is definitely a place we will recommend to all our friends. Also, the location was really good for us - close enough to Auckland for a day visit for a function, without having to stay there and fight all the traffic!
