We throughly enjoyed our stay at the The Orchard; the hosts Maggie and Chris were extremely welcoming and the unit itself was spacious and well appointed. The breakfast was great and the bonus tour of the orchard was fantastic. We now have an appreciation of avocado growers - and can now identify the different types of avocados we see in the supermarket!!

Hosted by Lukas who is one of the most helpful people I have had the fortune to meet, this property is ideal for those seeking seclusion but is also accessible to good local restaurants and areas of natural beauty. Great location. 15 mins from where the office was in Tauriko but still secluded and out of the city . Loved the little details . The hair dryer , continental breakfast , all the different apps on the TV. Saw in the cupboard , changing pad and portacot for baby. Did not get to use the outdoor bath but looked like you were in Bali. Had a very lovely stay .
The host Diane was very welcoming and showed us to our beautiful decorated room. Exquisite taste in decor.
The country garden was very restful and inviting even though it was showering with rain for our one night. Our breakfast of home prepared fresh fruit salad, cereals and toast was delicious.
