Hubby & I made a last-minute decision to stay at Mels Retreat, we loved our time together in such a magical spot, we didn't realize how busy we had been until we stopped for "Air" at Mels. Everything was thought of, personal touches & gifts, "no-one really does well" anymore... but she did. The location is epic, and the amenities were amazing. The Spa and Sauna are game changers. Very comfortable and clean, close to town and a very nice cafe road house that does an affordable delicious breakfast. I would come back and recommend to anyone
I loved that we could hear the trucks using their jakes down the hill really well as thats the reason we chose this location and we were not disappointed.The staff were really helpful and friendly.Loved how big the rooms were there was alot of space for my little family.
Warm, clean and comfortable accommodation in a beautiful rural setting. The owner were very friendly and it was fun for the kids seeing the lambs and petting the sheep. Plus nice little touches like home made brownie.
Amazing place mid trip to have a rest! I couldn't fault the accommodation. Perfectly described in the reviews. My only gripe was the Netflix obviously couldn't keep up with the internet connection, pretty sad when ive sorted the kids and just wanted to chill, and it kept reloading. Otherwise perfect in every way! Host thru to expectations was great 👍
