We loved the history, the location and the staff. The Mountain House has been beautifully renovated over the years. The food in the restaurant was great. I had the beef cheek. Yum

The warm wood fire was such a bonus we would love to stay again when next in the area.

As families grow in size, so too do the needs of a family holiday. That’s why family hotels are set up to cater for all ages, from toddlers and kids to teens and adults. Typically, you can expect restaurants with kids’ menus, games rooms, fitness centres and a pool area where children can play and parents can relax.
Staff were friendly on arrival and provided guidance on activities and sights to see. Room was large and spacious for our family of 4 with 2 beds in one room and a separate bed in the main area. Bathroom had good water pressure and plenty of hot water. Room heating was good. Great location within walking distance to Countdown.

We had 1-bedroom cabin with living area and kitchen. They also have BBQ in shared space, playground and swimpool. Overall the place is good to spend time and very kid-friendly.
We thoroughly enjoyed the tranquillity and the secluded setup of the accommodation. We needed something close to our family, yet we also wanted to treat ourselves and treat ourselves we certainly did. The massages, spa treatments, and swimming pool were all utterly amazing. Plus, the owners were completely dedicated to ensuring our satisfaction
Last minute stay, arrived after reception had closed. Staff were absolutely amazing and helped me without issue. Great little cabin, excellent price, clean and comfortable, private, close to town. Had a great night sleep. Highly recommend this family friendly park
