Our room was simple but spaciuos, clean and tidy with a big bathroom and a very comfortable bed. There is a small kitchen equipped all what is needed, the breakfast was very nice! even if we stayed for one night only, we felt like home!
a plus is the hot pool iacuzzi in the garden, fantastic! the surrounding garden is so lovely and the cat is adorable!

As families grow in size, so too do the needs of a family holiday. That’s why family hotels are set up to cater for all ages, from toddlers and kids to teens and adults. Typically, you can expect restaurants with kids’ menus, games rooms, fitness centres and a pool area where children can play and parents can relax.
Spa pool chalets were fantastic & had everything you needed for a short break! Beds were comfy, heat pump was a must for the winter stay and the breakfast was way more than anyone could expect. Enjoy reading by the fireplace at night or a round of darts and pool at the bar. Springs were breath taking. Place is a hidden gem! Food was outstanding & service felt like family
Free use of hotsprings. Beds are comfortable and breakfast is good.
We had a family event during the day and Okoroire Hotel catered. The buffet menu was beyond expectations and the chef was accommodating with our food options. Highly recommend catered events and staying the night. So convenient!
Thank you to the friendly staff too.
We loved the old world charm of this heritage hotel. The golf course was fun to play on, and the hot pools were relaxing, even in the rain. The staff were very friendly and efficient. We enjoyed both the restaurant and the bar food. The continental breakfast (included in the room price) was ample, and l particularly liked the cheese scones. We will definitely be returning.
The host was very generous to provide us with a lovely breakfast items. Home made bread, jams, milk, cereal and everything. She even kept few bottles of beer in the fridge for us too. We were impressed with the way that she had arranged everything we need. Lots of board game for kids too. Nice garden.
Very old property and facilities in rooms. Only a queen bed in each room. Can't add any extra bed for a child. Bed is hard and pillows are uncomfortable. Good view of golf course and excellent experience for the hot spring pools, which was the reason for booking the hotel. Restaurant and the bar are very good. The continental breakfast was mediocre though.
Love the room setting that made us feel very homely with lots of characters and all supplies we need the moment we're in. The Christmas decorations were really lovely around at the time. The area is very green, lovely and quiet with lots of old trees, and there's a trampoline and tennis and golf course for kids. Specially, the hot spring pools right next to the river are amazing, the feel of so close to nature in natural hot pools is just exceptional and unforgettable.
I loved the old style hotel and its antique furniture. Great atmosphere. Food was delicious. Hot pools perfect, authentic pools in beautiful native bush.
It was our families first night in New Zealand, a perfect start to a lovely holiday.
The hotel was beautifully maintained and you felt like you were stepping back into a different time. At the same time it was functional for a whole range of people. We loved the ambience and friendly staff.
