As families grow in size, so too do the needs of a family holiday. That’s why family hotels are set up to cater for all ages, from toddlers and kids to teens and adults. Typically, you can expect restaurants with kids’ menus, games rooms, fitness centres and a pool area where children can play and parents can relax.
It was the best stay during our travel to the West Coast. The hotel is not far away from the beach. The building and rooms were very nice and clean. Staff was amazing. They were extremely helpful and friendly. We we able to move to a more spacious room with an additional bed. All meals that we ordered were amazing. Even my very fussy child enjoyed the food. Everybody was extremely friendly and willing to help. All my crazy food requests were accepted. All three of us were very sad to leave and we are sure to be back next summer.
I had booked a budget conscious cabin, but when the staff found I was staying overnight for a work function they upgraded me to an in-house room that would make life more comfortable and easier for me to get ready for work in the morning - for no extra cost! A+
We stayed for one night in the family room, which is a rather dated motel style unit. The rooms were clean and reasonably comfortable. We found the beds a bit soft but we slept well on them. The unit had great views over the lake.
Two rooms - wanted them close together - parents in 1 kids in other. One room was in Motel other was hotel - 200m apart.
Motel room is fine. Son in Hotel room wore his clothes in bed as said it was cold - no heater (only April) - so could be really chilly mid-winter.
Hotel food pretty good.
