Penny and Lain were incredibly kind hosts! They were always warm and friendly. The property itself was most elegant and felt like a cottage out of a story book! Complete with seaviews, Victorian bathtubs and all the trimmings. The bed was amongst the coziest I've ever slept in and the room was equipped with a heater which worked perfectly on the beautiful, rainy days we experienced. We were at walking distance from restaurants and supermarkets. Ubers were readily available too. A continental breakfast was on offer every morning with coffee & a plethora of wonderful teas! My family and I love this place! It’s an absolute gem. The location is perfect for walking to all the restaurants on The Strand as well as easy access to Mount Maunganui. Well we didn't have breakfast so I'm not gonna comment on that. We only needed a place to crash for the night before coming back home today. But I find the place very comforting and peaceful. The location is okay considering it's peacefulness. It's great to know your place for future bookings when coming to your area. Wish we had the time to experience all that you can offer. Because we couldn't find a dairy last night for buying our necessities the service station was the only thing we could find. We'll It's not your fault it's just that we don't know the area well
