This beautiful and grand house exudes the charms of a bygone era while utilising all the comforts of modern living. The spacious apartment at the property consists of a bedroom, bathroom and a separate sun room overlooking the valley. Rooms are furnished with quality accessories and luxury linens. For your comfort, you will find bathrobes, free toiletries and a hairdryer.

Kaituna Valley Homestead is a beautiful, peaceful, fabulous place to stay. Yes, it’s a bit out of the way, but it’s worth the drive. We thoroughly enjoyed everything about it, from the rural setting to our large, comfortable room (great shower pressure) to the farm animals (highland cows!) to the stars at night to the delicious breakfasts both mornings. Sharon and John are friendly, thoughtful hosts. Highly recommend!

Older home that has been updated. It was very homey and had everything we needed. We were only there overnight, but I wish we had more time to spend in the area. Feeding the sheep was a bonus.

I was in a silo! Really well designed and constructed in an agricultural/industrial style to fit everything you need into a small round space. Very amiable host and great views.

Silo Stay is a really unique place to stay. Great kitchen set up. Very comfy. Toggle switches for lights was a good idea. Opening the roof up was a whole new concept to letting fresh air in ! Enjoyed the fun communications from the owners !

Very spacious, warm, and homely place. Our host was very kind and offered us freshly baked cookies and suggested places to visit and talked about the history of the farm. Feeding the sheep was fun! also saw shooting stars outside the cottage!

it’s hard to describe how truly exceptional Kaituna Valley Homestead is - the most luxurious bed I’ve ever slept in situated in such a generous room, home cooked breakfast each morning, our own enclosed veranda looking out to the most peaceful views across the valley that you could imagine and never tire of, exceptional hosts in Sharon and John, lovely bath and amenities, access to outside spa, all in such peace and quiet - it was the perfect end to our time in NZ after some major walks - we’ll definitely be back.
