Silo Stay is a really unique place to stay.
Great kitchen set up. Very comfy.
Toggle switches for lights was a good idea.
Opening the roof up was a whole new concept to letting fresh air in !
Enjoyed the fun communications from the owners !
Very spacious, warm, and homely place. Our host was very kind and offered us freshly baked cookies and suggested places to visit and talked about the history of the farm. Feeding the sheep was fun! also saw shooting stars outside the cottage!
it’s hard to describe how truly exceptional Kaituna Valley Homestead is - the most luxurious bed I’ve ever slept in situated in such a generous room, home cooked breakfast each morning, our own enclosed veranda looking out to the most peaceful views across the valley that you could imagine and never tire of, exceptional hosts in Sharon and John, lovely bath and amenities, access to outside spa, all in such peace and quiet - it was the perfect end to our time in NZ after some major walks - we’ll definitely be back.
Friendly host, feel like home, has Netflix and DVD player with heaps DVD movies provided. Marie even baked us some Choc chips cookies which was super yummy! Sheep feeding was fun, kids kept saying want to visit again one day :)
Thanks for a most welcome stay and absolutely beautiful piece of paradise. We had a lovely stay and the children really enjoyed feeding the friendly and funny sheep and exploring around the property. We will be back sometime
