We were pleased to stay at Scott Base as it broke up our drive to Taupo. The ferry was later ,so we contacted Brenda and she put the electric blankets on for us as we arrived at 10.50 pm. . It was easy to find. Brenda made us a lovely breakfast complete with pancakes and berries. They were very friendly and I will recommend Scott Base to all my friends traveling to North Island.

EVERYTHING, the host was so sweet to me , very simple to check in, very spacious I have a 7year old and she felt very safe, kids entertainment, my husband also felt very safe, neighbours so friendly. Over all great experience!
It was raining and cold when we arrived, but the owners had kindly put the heater on for us, which was a lovely touch. All three of the rooms in the family unit were a good size; just right for 3 of us. The double bed was nice and comfortable.
Absolutely loved our stay , was so comfy and so clean, direct for where we were going beautiful atmosphere aswell. Great value for money and we can't wait to bring our kids back to stay.
