EcoScapes is situated in 26 km from the centre of Glenorchy and offers transport to the Routeburn Track, which is 17 km from the property. Guests can enjoy breakfast through to dinner in the on-site restaurant, in the privacy of their room or on the verandah.

The scenery is out of the world, the accommodation in itself is pretty self sufficient with modern gadgets provided. Loved the jacuzzi and the projector for some midnight movie.

Just as described on the website, the venue is located in a small village which can be reached by gravel road. The road itself is well-maintained and we had no trouble driving in. The house itself is not big, but it does have everything one would need, plus a great panoramic view to the lake. The breakfast is served in a little restaurant nearby and it was delicious.
