We were indeed beachfront in our 2 bedroom cottage on a very golden beach. The location cannot be beat. It was so beautiful that we did not want to leave to travel up to Cape Reinga - but we pulled ourselves away and enjoyed the side trip. It is a very good departure point for Cape Reinga. The cottage itself is very nicely done with guest comfort in mind. It has a beachy feel, a huge deck with a table and seating areas on the waterfront, and 2 comfortable bedrooms. Communication with the owners was seamless and we were able to arrive without having to arrange a meet and greet. The friendliness and caring of the owners is amazing. Highly recommended.

All rooms have a microwave, fridge and toaster most have full stove. All have an en suite bathroom with a shower. All rooms offer indoor and outdoor dining areas and come fully equipped with all the necessary cooking utensils. All family apartments feature newly renovated European kitchens.

Everything was exceptional. We were plesantly surprised by the layout and space of the apartment, having ample room to spread out and relax. Being right on the beach is a huge bonus and meant it was very scerene and peaceful. The hot tub was great and made star gazing a memorable experience. Host was lovely and very accomodating, easy to talk to and very helpful with local knowledge.
