We love this place so much! Came back for another few days before we leave the area. So comfortable and calm. Beautiful setting. Cabins are great, stayed in Chaff Hut this time. Kitchen well equipped and clean. Bathroom and shower clean and spacious with lashings of hot water. Patio great for tranquil moments and time out. Town is lovely with 2 coffee shops, one at each end! Lovely walks around and close to Gore Bay.

Lovely Cottage with a nice fireplace that makes your stay very cozy. Liz, the owner put a lot of effort into the details, even a nice bag off popcorn was waiting for me in the microwave

Booked a very last minute stay and rather late. Showed up 20 minutes after closing, owners were lovely and our room was just what we needed for family of 4. Beautiful scenery to wake up too. Everything you require is in your room.

Loved Everything about this warm and cosy cottage! Comfy bed, amazing shower, very well equipped kitchen and Liz was a wonderful, friendly host who went out of her way to make us feel comfortable. The location was perfect for trips into Kaikoura and having the river right on your doorstep was a bonus for the fisherman in the family (and the dog!). Yes, there is a bit of road noise but this doesn't detract at all from the beauty of the place.
