I looked all over the Internet for the perfect place to stay during my time in Bathali, I am so glad I found Thumki Resort, the Hotel is located in the most beautiful scenic location and the views during sunrise and sunset were remarkable, the Staff was very friendly and the food was brilliant in all aspects truly authentic Nepali cuisine. I’ll definitely visit if I’m ever in the area again and highly recommend anyone else to do so as well.

I had a wonderful stay at Sila’s place. Beautiful views, laidback atmosphere, roof terrace, clean bathroom,.. it was perfect! Sila was very helpful and made some great breakfast. I felt at home immediately and will come back for sure. The temple complex and green surroundings made for a perfect getaway from Kathmandu.

Clean and spacious with a beautiful interior design - clearly a labour of love! Outdoor glass lift to the rooftop terrace provided fantastic panoramic views. Superb location, quiet and away from the hustle and bustle of Dhulikhel. The property boasts multiple large seminar halls, perfect for corporate events and retreats. The staff were friendly and went above and beyond to make sure all needs were met. The resort is in the process of opening its newly completed spa and swimming pool facilities for which I'll be back to experience!

    The hostess and her family made sure that we felt at home straight away. Everything was clean and comfortable. I had an amazing cooking lesson when we prepared the main meal together. I also got a lot of help planning the next part of my trip. Thank you Sila!

    Warm, charming and friendly family that offered a wonderful insight into local life and daily activities. Delicious homecooked food. Excellent walking tour around village. We had great henna designs applied by daughter in law. Clean bathroom and small but perfectly fine bedroom.

    We’ve had a wonderful stay at Arjana’s house. She and her family are the kindest people and we felt comfortable from the start. It’s a perfect opportunity to get to know the Nepali people and learn about their culture, tradition and way of living.
