Staff were extremely welcoming and friendly. They were constantly doing their best to help, smile and make us feel so welcome. I loved their restaurant food, it was good quality and good price, so much so that we ate there often. It was in a good area, close to good shopping, an ATM and interesting areas to walk around. It had areas like a balcony and terrace to sit in and enjoy. Clean hotel on a clean little street. The price was reasonable. We got big bottles of water replenished every day and there’s a little fridge in the room if you need it. Overall it was too good, we returned and stayed again.

Very beautiful and stunning historical heritage, owned by the Rana caste, out of which several prime ministers and other influential people were recruited. Good location, and despite the lively environment, the hotel facilities offer a quiet retreat from this bustling city.
The hotel offers meals in 4 different restaurants. The local Nepali food was very nice, the French restaurant is ok, the breakfast does not reach the necessary standards for such a property.

Beautifully decorated hotel that is around 10-15 min drive from the airport (we had also booked a room with round trip airport transfers included which were seamlessly organised). The staff are wonderful; Smriti at the reception desk was incredibly helpful with all of our asks. The food and coffee were excellent at the Base Camp Cafe. We had a wonderful thali and were entertained by Nepalese dancers at Bhansa restaurant. Our breakfast at The Mantra was wonderful too. We had some great massages at the spa, and enjoyed a swim on the rooftop pool. Cannot fault our stay - it was wonderful! Highly recommend, and would definitely return.

Excellent courtyard, a peaceful sanctuary. Staff were very nice and accomodating. The lovely girl at the reception (who checked me out), i don't know her name, but she was very nice and always smiled and greeted me. The restaurant staff were also very sweet. The good was really good also.
As families grow in size, so too do the needs of a family holiday. That’s why family hotels are set up to cater for all ages, from toddlers and kids to teens and adults. Typically, you can expect restaurants with kids’ menus, games rooms, fitness centres and a pool area where children can play and parents can relax.
Family friendly( Mom and son), staff that goes the extra mile, comfortable bed, spacious rooms, Bathtub(fits in with the needs of US raised kids), Good coffee, wonderful sit out balcony, simple but predictable, home quality clean food and in the heart of Thamel accessible ,yet gives a homely feel. never fell sick when we are there. Would recommend to family and friends.
We had a fantastic family vacation at NIRVANA BOUTIQUE HOTEL. The rooms were clean and spacious, with comfortable beds and a great view of the city and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The location was perfect, close to all the main attractions and restaurants. We would definitely recommend this hotel.
This place is wonderful. The staff were incredibly helpful and polite. We were traveling with a 15-month-old infant, and the hotel staff went above and beyond to assist us. They not only prepared special food for our child but also provided cooking provisions. The atmosphere is tranquil. I highly recommend this hotel, especially the attentive service from Mr. Probin, who made sure our stay was delightful.
Breakfast set is very good, but personally I missed the oat porridge. Anyway the menu is very nice to have diner and spend end of the day with your friends have a great food.
Guests are very international and this is the feature of the hotel. You have the opportunity to discuss tracks or Kathmandu sightseens.
This is the family hotel. Staff is very friendly and try to fulfill your requests with willingness to help you.
The staff were very friendly and accomodating. They were great with my young kids and happy to help with anything we needed. There was always hot water for the shower which was fantastic. They were happy for me to use the washing machine and kitchen as I needed due to my length of stay and small children.
I was able to fill up our water bottles from the filtered water downstairs each day too.
Very helpful local family. Scooter renting rs. 1000 per day was also fun. The owner also speaks very good english. Definitely coming next time as well.
We've travelled plenty in Nepal so our standards are well calibrated for the context. This place felt very safe, comfortable and exceptionally clean. We traveled with two small children, so the bigger family room was perfect. Good price given the size.
Still close enough to the airport for a short walk too.
Beautiful home and so lovely like family , the owners wife became like a sister to me. Really looked after me making me tea and cooking lovely Nepalese dishes so beautifully cooked. The best food ever. I feel so lucky to have stayed here and met this lovely lady and her cute children. So much care and kindness .
Very happy with room very comfortable and enjoyed cooking My own meals. I was so sad to leave . Really touched my heart.
