We really enjoyed our stay in the tent of Flatheim, comfortable bed and warm bed. The diner was delicious and it was served in the beautiful Heritage traditional House. The breakfast was very good with fresh eggs from the farm. The owner told us about the interesting history of his family Heritage house. We recommend the Flatheim Glamping.

Great place to stay. Large 2 bedroom house, very comfortable, quiet area close to the shops. An excellent well equipped kitchen. Washing machine and dryer in the bathroom. Heating was turned on so nice and warm.

The heritage house is a thing of amazing beauty! The warmth, the decoration, the home-made breakfast, everything looks and feels great! Very cozy and hospitable environment, with free parking 20 meters away. The host was very kind and helpful and understanding. It's obvious that he takes great care of this house and everything around it. The dinner he offered was rich and tasteful, and he even chipped in a little extra for the kids, although we had only booked dinner for 2!
I felt very welcome in Tuftegarden, it has a family spirit. A very nice way to discover Norwegians culture.
The place and the views are great. It is a quiet and peaceful place.
The Fossestein trail was a marvelous discovery
The farm is awesome, they have 3 different houses - they are all great! The host was very kind and cooperative, helped us with everything even like firing a small barbecue next to the house which was generally not ok, but since we were with small kids and it was raining we couldn't go to the designated bbq area. The deserts are INCREDIBLE and cheap for Norway - try the brownie and the carrot cake!
We took a detour only to spend a night in Flatheim. And our stay there exceeded our expectations. We stayed in the family room of this beautifully preserved bucolic house. The host is very friendly and gave us useful information on the history of the farm and the points of interest in the surrounding area. The breakfast was simple and delicious. We wish we could have spent more nights there!
