The appartment was very well furnished, equiped and clean, with nice space, confortable beds and couch, and even well decorated. The location is convenient for close access to Preikestolen hiking starting point (15 minutes) and not far from Stavanger (40 minutes) both by car. Supermarkets, bakery and restaurant also accessible by car in 5 minutes. Conveniently, there is a parking space at the appartment.

Supernice house with a fantastic view. You get everything for cooking in Hjelmeland and can nicely do a trip to Preikestolen. The hosts are also very kind.

Overall, the hotel staff, room, and stay was wonderful. The breakfast was unbeatable. I will definitely return. Would recommend highly. On my next visit, I will ask about a room away from the ballroom. :)

The hotel was everything we needed.
The room was very nice and welcoming, We loved the big windows.
Especially we loved the bathroom, the shower always had hot water.
The staff was wonderful, one day it was raining and they let us borrow an umbrella for the day.
Also, there is a lovely restaurant inside the hotel. We ate there breakfast and it was perfect.

It was an excellent place to stay. Loved it. It was a hostel but for families. The rooms were spacious, but you also got a shared feeling. The breakfast was awesome and it was excellent chatting with the volunteer summer staff.

* Parking in front of the property was free and the location was an easy enough drive for us to/from Preikestolen.
* For families, school groups or sports teams, this looked like a fun place with many activities, rooms, sports areas.
The property is very suitable for families with children. It offers everything, from playground, game room, football and volleyball, and many lounges for kids and adults. The facilities are clean, the kitchen offers all the equipment you could ask for and the staff was amazing.

Really great place for families with a lot of facilities for kids outdoor and indoor. Near great walking trails and with a private beach at the lake. We regret we only booked for 2 nights.
