This is great value, a beautiful spot right on the fjord with a very friendly and helpful owner.
There is a sauna as part of the site and we paid extra, but a very reasonable price for exclusive access right on the fjord.
The site had all necessary cooking facilities too, small amounts in our room but the common areas there was more

We came to Øvre Årdal for a weekend of hiking, and this apartment was perfect for us (3 friends). Very central location, easy parking right next to the front door, close to everything you need (grocery shops, restaurant, swimming pool, hiking trails). Spacious apartment, two good size bedrooms, fully equipped kitchen, TV with Netflix. The host was very helpful, responsive and easy to communicate with.
We had dinner at the restaurant on one of the nights and can highly recommend it, Thai food was very tasty!

Amazing location close to the river and the Jostedal glacier. We used it as a base for a guided tour of the glacier and kayaking trip. Really enjoyed relaxing by the river in the evening.

Location is stunning. Owner is a lovely person and very helpful. Cabin spotlessly clean and warm even on the coldest of nights. We were even able to drive our Yeti up to the cabin when the snow was fresh. Fairly close to shops etc. Beautiful area to explore. List of cleaning jobs before leaving is a bit too long (from DanCenter). A wonderful little cabin!

Excellent location! On the waterfront! Very close to Llama farms and a super market. Nice, cosy family apartment for a night stopover. Living room and kitchen space was good. They have a nice restaurant as well, though we didnt try.
The place is lovely situated. The personell is absolutely great. The supper we had was absolutely great: typical classic Scandinavian lamb stew brought to us with a lovely taste of its origin - a taste we hadn't sensed since our childhood 40 years ago.
