The appartment was very well furnished, equiped and clean, with nice space, confortable beds and couch, and even well decorated. The location is convenient for close access to Preikestolen hiking starting point (15 minutes) and not far from Stavanger (40 minutes) both by car. Supermarkets, bakery and restaurant also accessible by car in 5 minutes. Conveniently, there is a parking space at the appartment.

We wanted a convenient location to sleep before hiking to Preikestolen - and in this way it was perfect. The host was friendly and helpful and the cabin has a lot of charm. Also, beds were comfy!

Overall, the hotel staff, room, and stay was wonderful. The breakfast was unbeatable. I will definitely return. Would recommend highly. On my next visit, I will ask about a room away from the ballroom. :)

As families grow in size, so too do the needs of a family holiday. That’s why family hotels are set up to cater for all ages, from toddlers and kids to teens and adults. Typically, you can expect restaurants with kids’ menus, games rooms, fitness centres and a pool area where children can play and parents can relax.
Functional and clean. Do book the sauna, very good value for money, the price stated is for the sauna not per person. Bring some tape bring as we taped the mosquito net around the door so we could sleep with the door little bit open. We are both breakfast and dinner at the hotel.
Everything was perfect.
The host family took very good care of us and even a sightseeing trip of the whole area in their private car was included.
We felt perfectly fine and had a great Norway experience.

Lovely location next to the harbour. Free parking. Convenient if you will hike to Pulpit Rock (15 min by car). (As a plus: coffee machine and coffee capsules! 🤩🤩)
Amazing location. Beautiful scenery. Really nice breakfast. DJ playing in the afternoons outside. Floating sauna is fantastic, would highly recommend. Bathroom facilities are clean and perfectly functional. Yes, there is a walk to get to the bathroom but you are there to camp and hike, so if you cannot climb the hill to the bathroom, you probably shouldn’t be at there at all.
A cozy and cute family-owned and operated hotel in Jørpeland, very close to the Jørpelands river waterfall and walking distance to the Jørpelandsholmen and the Solspeilet.
Staff is super helpful and accommodating - we even received a free room upgrade for me and my wife on our honeymoon trip :) The view from the family room was awesome (see pic attached). It was a picturesque hotel with a wholesome atmosphere, accessible to people on wheelchairs.
Also the parking place is highly appreciated :)
The location was excellent for getting started with the Preikestolen hike. Other reviews had praised the breakfast and they had been correct -- there were lots of great choices for the whole family. The room itself was warm and comfortable.
