The location was excellent! The view in the morning was just unreal. Also, the facilities were very good- the shower was awesome with hot water and good stream, the bed was comfortable. I highly recommend!

The views were absolutely unbelievable! The lovely gentleman who helped us check in and recommended some amazing walks in the area. The food was amazing. Recommend a room with Mountain View but the terrace provides equally amazing views if there are none available.

Quiet and peaceful stay. A good alternative to staying in Flam, if you are taking the cruise. The place is beautiful. There's free space for parking and also a washer for use (outside the apartment). Our unit is up a short flight of stairs and double storey, with two bathrooms. Adequate bed for 9 of us (5kids).

The location of this hotel is exceptional, as is the concept, BUT the hotel itself is in need of a refurb and refresh, especially given it was the most expensive place we stayed during our 12 day tour of Norway. We stayed in a Viking room in the round house - a bit gimmicky, but fun. All in all, a pleasant stay - mainly due to the views of the fjord and the onsite Viking village.

Great themed rooms. Fun and different. The location is beautiful .Fire pits at night and the surroundings do make this a very relaxing place to stay, Breakfast was good with varied choices although can get very busy and cramped especially the waffle maker that is really popular..

Amazing atmosphere in a very beautiful landscape. Fantastic place for all ages. Our group had a toddler and a teenager. You can take the Fjord cruise straight from here, which saves time. Plus, the location is less crowded than Flåm.

The property is in a beautiful location. I booked a holiday hut which did have a private bathroom as we were travelling with children.it was perfect size, quite big. Kitchen was well equipped. Checking in is easy. We brought our own bedding and towels. 20 minutes drive to Flam.

The cabin was great: 2 rooms (one for the parents, one for the kids), fully equipped kitchen, toilets and shower. Great location between the fjord, waterfalls and a river. Also in a walking distance, a gas station + comfort store, the Vikings Open Museum, which was great fun for the kids (especially my boy liked The Viking Game, which reminds Chess), and two restaurants. Laundry option is available for guests. The staff was friendly.
