Really enjoyed my stay and the owner Dirk was very helpful having a baby with us, gave us a cot and gave us ice packs when we went out to keep the milk cool in hot weather. We had steak for my birthday dinner and it was beautifully cooked. Could not recommend this hotel higher.

You should stay a night in Giethoorn because of the morning and evening peace and quiet after day trippers are gone. The canal turns into mirror and you get beautiful pics w perfect reflections. This is not possible during the day w tourist boats.
