Drinking morning coffee on the deck of the boat, in the sun and near the water, is definitely a priceless experience 😀 Comfy bed, everything clean. Hot water under a clean shower 😌 I really like when "what you see is what you get" which is definitely the case for this wonderful boat.

This is a nice small hotel, beautifully designed. They offer accommodation at resonance price, especially for families. We loved the design of the room, however, really struggled with the toilet. First of all, toilet room was less than 1sqm, we didn’t understand how it was even possible to create this project and get it approved. When you sit on it (pardon me for the details), you most likely smash your forehead at the wall. But that wasn’t the main issue, we could not see functional ventilation (I am not sure if it’s there at all). For a family of 5, having a tiny (less than 1sqm) toilet without ventilation was a real disaster. Obviously, that fact affected our stay, we had to wait longer than normal while taking turns. We even tried to use the other toilet but it wasn’t ideal. We have been travelling in Europe for 4 weeks at that stage and that was the issue we never had before. Location- please check the location. It worked for us as we were driving and it wasn’t a problem to drive to the train station, however, by foot it’s good 3km and the surroundings are not scenic, so probably not ideal. Trains come every 30 min(not 15) and it takes 4 stops (maybe 15-20min) to get to the main station in Amsterdam. We were also offered a breakfast for EURO 14.75 which didn’t include any hot food, my understanding is that they do not have a kitchen, so they offer only cold food. We declined that option and were able to get simple hot breakfast in the cafe near the hotel at Euro7,5. Again, the overall impression is nice and as I said the interior design looks lovely, however, it appeared to be not so practical for 5 people and a tiny toilet. It should be ok for 1-2 people.

It’s a beautiful place , peaceful, perfect for relaxing. The hosts are very nice and welcoming, we have spent a wonderful time there.

A well-equipped apartment for a family stay, with all the accessories for an extended stay. Excellent location close to many sites. There is a supermarket nearby.

It’s a wonderful historic house in the village of Grootschermer with all amenities. Location is perfect for car and especially bike trips throughout Northen Holland. It’s secluded and peaceful but within 5-minute drive to De Rijp where there is a super market and good bus connection to Amsterdam Central (2x per hour). There are a number of good restaurants ( in Grootschermer, Noordeinde and De Rijp) and lots of sightseeing attractions. Marianne ang Gijs are the best hosts! Wonderful warm people that make you feel at home.

Very pretty hotel, good location, close to the train station which takes you direct to Amsterdam centre.Fast WiFi connection, loved it. Well lit room, good size, has a TV, coffee maker, nice and cozy.
