The breakfast was really nice and the breakfast room was varied. The location, being really in the centre of the town was so nice. All restaurants were within 5 to 10 minutes walk.
Hotel Buren is a cosy family hotel, only a 5-minute walk from the harbour and the lighthouse. The hotel has a very convenient location for the ferry, village centre, and nature reserve.

The room was clean, we had two single beds and would have preferred one. When the windows were open there was a load of mosquitos, maybe something could be done in front of the window. The breakfast was basic but fresh.

Upon arriving at Pension de Wadvaarder (through the back gate), you’ll enter into a cozy living room and dinning area. Gerrit & Annemieke have a great sense of style and it shows throughout the property, including the garden. The bedroom was spacious and had a small reading room with books (in Dutch). For breakfast you are provided a checklist of items to choose from which are then freshly assembled for you in the morning. The items are excellent quality, some derived from Terschelling (cheese, cranberry compote, eggs…) - lekker!
The pension is close to the village center and bus stop. Hikes on the dike, in the forrest, on the dunes, and beach are easily manageable. Of course you can also bike if you want to move around faster and farther.

The family apartment was perfect for our family of 5 and we really enjoyed our stay. The kids loved the kids room and the pool and we had a wonderful time exploring the island on our bikes.
The best place to stay at Terschelling. Applies also to family rooms!!The more so as they do not charge the crazy prices most other facilities at the island dare to ask!
Great room options for families with two bedroom in the apartments, large balconies and a kitchen - lounge area. Quiet, peaceful location but also lots to do for kids - play park, swimming pool and now a tree top climbing course and excellent playground with inflated slide just behind the hotel! Kids here are so happy:-)
Very friendly host upgraded our Bungalow to the luxury one with a view on the lighthouse. We've got access to the SPA and swimming pool right from our house. Kids enjoyed it a lot together with the gaming area. We used recommended by host bike rental and our luggage got delivered to the location. It was a wonderful time off season with all the island available just for us!
Wonderful location and great staff. The view from this place is magnificent and it is super-relaxed staying here. The food is also very good. As family or small group, you can have your own room with private bathroom.
Fantastically spacious and well equipped apartment. Helpful and efficient staff. Facilities for kids on premises and complimentary free passes to the neighbouring public swimming pool were a great add. Also, transporting our luggage to the ferry whilst we took our rental bikes is a super service. We'd like to go back.
We had a great stay here. Our kids had a lot of fun and things to do (pool, table tennis, air hocky, trampoline, organised events by the accomodation) I myself enjoyed the fitness room. The personal was very friendly and helpfull and the surrounding very quiet. I can realy recommand this hotel.
