Fantastic quiet location but close enough to the city to make driving in and out very easy. Beautiful room, exceeded all expectations, really excellent host, everything totally clear and easy, very welcoming and incredibly professional. You couldn't want anymore and I can't recommend this place highly enough.

The whole visit to Hotel De Magistraat was superb, and Willemstad is a most interesting town, with a quaint harbour and multiple choice of dining locations. It is a newly re-developed hotel, and the owners have done everything right. Our room was delightful, lots of space, beautifully decorated and furnished, with a wonderful large walk in wet room/shower room. Around the hotel the decoration, furnishings and EVERYTHING was just so great. In the morning, breakfast was "presented" as almost a ceremony, with a wonderful spread of cold meat, cheese, delicious bread choice and plenty more. If we are ever anywhere near this location again, we will change our route to stay here again. To score it - 12 out of 10!

The owner was super friendly and polite. The cottage, which is like a barn in the backyard, gave us a lot of privacy. The inside was well arranged. The garden was really beautiful, with lots of flowers in bloom (we visited in August), chairs to lounge on and there were cute animals – two piglets, some chickens, and a couple of parrots. They didn't make noise in the morning.
